On June 25th, 2020 New West Symphony embarked on a first-of-its-kind production. The four orchestra sections competed against each other for the honored title of “Best Orchestra Section in the History of the World.“
Each section performed a medley of classical favorites arranged by four local composers who translated them for a single section, whether Strings, Brass, Woodwinds, or Percussion.
The result was four incredible medleys that creatively re-imagined what an orchestra section was capable of, with interweaved melodies and hilarious surprises. Watch clips from all four medleys now!
