Rodeo, a Western ballet
Agnes de Mille choreographed the Western-themed ballet, Rodeo: “the touching story of a tomboy in search of love.” “The ballet features bravura dancing for the men in a unique style derived from horseback riding and cattle roping. A work by turns robust and tender, full of optimism, Rodeo is a celebration of the pluck and spirit of the American character.”
Hear Hoedown, the music of the final dance, written by great American composer Aaron Copland — and so much more, for a concert that will have your heart racing and toes tapping!
