Principal Violin II

Ina Veli grew up in a musical family and began studying the violin at the age of 5. At 13, she began touring throughout Europe, as well as participating in competitions in Hungary, Italy and Albania. In 2005, Ina completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Oklahoma winning the concerto competition. She is the recipient of the first prize at Crescendo Rotary of Tulsa Competition. To further her studies Ina moved to Los Angeles to complete her master’s degree in the prestigious violin performance program at the University of Southern California. She has studied with known professors such as, Felicia Moye, Cho Liang Lin, and Alice Schoenfeld. In addition she has attended the Texas Music Festival, ARIA Music Festival, Aspen Summer Music Festival and RoundTop International Festival and has been selected and performed in the masterclasses of Pinchas Zuckerman, Anne Akiko Meyers, American String Quartet and Tokyo Quartet.

Ina regularly performs with the Pasadena Pops Symphony, Santa Barbara Symphony, Riverside Symphony, Redlands Symphony and many other ensembles in the Southern California region sharing the stage with the likes of Yo-Yo Ma, Sarah Chang and Itzhak Perlman. Her non-classical experiences include live performances, TV appearances and recording sessions of film music. As a first violinist she has recorded for the well-known act Everlast, Legendary music producer David Foster, Dangermouse, Kurt Elling, Clay Aiken, Jonas Brothers, Kate Perry and William Joseph.
