Meet Joachim Horsley

Joachim Horsley is an American pianist, composer, and arranger known for blending classical masterpieces with Afro-Caribbean rhythms. A former film composer with credits on HBO’s Gordita Chronicles, Batman: Soul of the Dragon, and Disney’s Big City Greens, Horsley launched his groundbreaking Beethoven in Havana project after studying music in Cuba in 2015. His viral arrangement of Beethoven’s 7th Symphony in Cuban style led to two acclaimed albums, Via Havana and Caribbean Nocturnes, and performances worldwide with both orchestras and his own ensemble. Through his unique fusion, Horsley brings fresh life to classical music while celebrating the vibrancy of Caribbean culture.
