Arun began training in Bharatanatyam under his guru Smt. Sundara Swaminathan, at Kala Vandana Dance Center in San Jose, California. In addition to training with his guru, some of the teachers he studies with include Smt. KP Yasodha, Smt. Rama Vaidyanathan, Smt. Bragha Bessell, Sri Hari Padman and Smt. Viji Prakash. A man wearing many hats, Arun is the Budget Manager at the LA County Museum of Art, is currently pursuing his MBA at UCLA Anderson, and is a guest lecturer at the Glorya Kaufman School of Dance, at USC.
