What to Wear

The theme is Denim and Diamonds so be sure to wear your jeans or denim with a touch of bling (especially for the ladies).  Dinner is in a covered pavilion area with several open French door areas.

The weather is predicted to be warm, and you might consider bringing sunglasses and possibly a hat for the adjacent outdoor concert area.  It will be cooler after the sun goes down, so you may want to include a jacket or shawl – and your dancing shoes!

Emergency

In the event of an emergency, please seek the assistance of a nearby New West Symphony staff member, our House Manager, or call 911 for police assistance. When reporting an emergency, please include your location and call back telephone number.

The event is employing a shelter-in-place policy in the unlikely case of an emergency. Shelter-in-place is the act of seeking safety within the area, facility, or building one already occupies, rather than evacuating the area or seeking a community emergency shelter.

We recommend having a meeting spot with friends or family so that you can find each other if your phones lose signal or lose battery. Also, it is suggested to keep emergency contact information and phone numbers of your friends and family on a sheet of paper, in case you lose your phone.

First Aid

For First Aid needs, please contact New West Symphony staff. If there is a serious emergency, see above.

Patron Safety

All Patrons must maintain reasonable and appropriate behavior at all times. Patrons who engage in disorderly conduct will be asked to leave the premises and may be subject to arrest. Ejected patrons will not receive a refund for their tickets or be compensated in any way for their loss. Harassment and violence of any kind will not be tolerated and will be addressed by professional Front of House Staff (Ushers and Security), at their discretion.

If you see something, say something. New West Summerfest staff and designated security personnel will be monitoring the environment but, like when you’re at the airport or other large events, please do not hesitate to raise concerns to your nearest usher or security guard so that they can look into it.

Smoking, including the use of electronic smoking devices or vaping and the use of tobacco products, is prohibited in all gathering area, including dinner and courtyard. Smoking is allowed in designated and specifically marked areas. Please contact event staff for location.
