Our February 29th performance of Felix Mendelssohn’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream was the perfect setting for the wedding of a lifetime! New West Symphony’s Box Office Manager and his fiancé had a 3-minute wedding ceremony on stage in front of the orchestra, and shared their kiss to the opening of the wonderful Wedding March.
The pair met at a Symphony concert, and it all came full circle with a Symphony wedding complete with over 1,000 witnesses – the audience and orchestra!

We were there for this lovely surprise. So touching. Bravo to the orchestra and this brave couple, and best wishes in these uncertain times. We all deserve a “happily ever after.” JB
