Pablo Ortiz,
Master of Ceremonies

Pablo has been in Cable, Radio & Television to include sales and station management since 1977. Working in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Tucson, West Palm Beach and settling in Oxnard/Ventura, California, his experience covers Univision in LA, Chicago and NYC, NBC in NYC, local radio in Tucson, Arizona, Adelphia Cable in West Palm Beach and Jones Intercable in Oxnard, CA. Has been with Gold Coast Broadcasting in Ventura, California since January 1999.

In addition to key company sales activity, Pablo also serves as the Hispanic Market expert for the company to include both the English language dominant and Spanish language dominant sectors. Pablo is a motivational speaker, emcees many So-Cal events, and helps raise funds for non-profits as an auctioneer. He was named City of Oxnard and Oxnard Downtown Management District Volunteer of the Year in March 2007.  In June of 2008 he was named "Distinguished Citizen of the Year" by the Oxnard Chamber of Commerce and served as the Grand Marshall of the 2008 Downtown Oxnard Christmas Parade. In September of 2008, Pablo was named Ventura County Citizen of the Year by the Ventura County Reporter Annual "Best Of."   He continues to volunteer and help the local community through his direct work with the following organizations:
