Superstar violinist Pinchas Zukerman and cellist Amanda Forsyth return to the New West Symphony with a program that includes a Vivaldi concerto for violin and cello as well as solo works for both instruments by Couperin, Haydn and Beethoven. Maestro Zukerman also serves as conductor for the program that ends with Franz Shubert's Haydnesque and Mozartian flavored Fifth Symphony.

Classical Vienna comes alive when Viennese born pianist, Till Fellner, makes his New West Symphony debut with Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's graceful and majestic Piano Concerto No. 22. Beethoven's Overture to The Creatures of Prometheus opens the program, setting the scene for the ballet telling of the legend of Prometheus bringing enlightenment to the world.  The Viennese centered program ends with Johannes Brahms's masterful Third Symphony.

The overture to Richard Wagner's opera Tannhäuser sets the scene of profane and sacred love and the redemption of the hero by a pure woman. Antonin Dvořák pays homage to his beloved Czech people with his tuneful and folk-music filled Sixth Symphony.
